MONDAY – AFRICAN DRUMMING Learn the basics of African drumming quickly with experienced tutor Hassan Lotfi. Enjoy letting off steam, making noise, and developing rhythmic skills. All instruments provided.
TUESDAY – FOOTBALL LESSONS WITH A PROFESSIONAL COACH Join Coach Matt for a fun football session! Improve skills, teamwork, and have fun. Beginners and experienced players welcome. Please wear appropriate clothing.
WEDNESDAY – ART IN THE PARK Join us for Art in Colchester Park! Explore creativity with guided projects. Materials provided (dress for mess!).
THURSDAY – RAFIKI KITCHEN At RAFIKI Kitchen, what you cook becomes your lunch! Join us to learn cooking skills from a trained chef and enjoy the delicious meal you create.
FRIDAY – DANCE Let off steam with all styles of dance – from breakdancing to traditional African dance!

Our Holiday Clubs offer funded spaces for children aged 6-10 years who receive benefits-based free school meals. We are inclusive and cater to SEND level 1. Additionally, we provide places for families on low incomes and other groups who may benefit from attending. Each attending child receives a nutritious hot meal, drinks, and healthy snacks. You can provide your child’s lunch if preferred. Food includes traditional school meals like spag bol, diverse dishes such as Biryani, and opportunities to prepare food like Pitta Pizzas!
Drop off: Colchester Arts Centre, 31-32 Priory Walk, Colchester, Essex CO1 1LG (near the Sainsburys in town) No parking on site. Please ensure your child comes prepared with necessary items e.g. suncream, water bottle, hat, and sports clothing.
